using PSConfig - wait

I always use PSConfig with the -wait parameter 

It ensures a consistent upgrade experience 

First stop the Timer service - then run PSConfig:

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -force 



When you reach step 2 - restart the Timer service:
